Joe Abdalla serves as Chief Commercial Officer at Valeris, where he leads the Commercial team with a focus on driving growth, innovation, and client success. Prior to joining Valeris, he was President and Chief Commercial Officer at Mercalis, overseeing sales, marketing, client services, and operations. Joe originally joined TrialCard in June 2014 to lead its expansion into the broader Market Access and Patient Services space—a strategic focus that continued through its rebranding as Mercalis.

Joe brings deep experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, having held senior roles across sales, marketing, and executive leadership. His career has emphasized commercial strategy, P&L management, mergers and acquisitions, and general business leadership. He has held executive positions at United BioSource Corporation (UBC), HealthStar Communications, and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).

A registered pharmacist, Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Campbell University. He also serves on the Board of Visitors for the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy.
