As President of Valeris, Scott leads the company’s mission to reimagine the life sciences commercialization experience through technology, innovation, and a deep commitment to patients.
Prior to joining Valeris, Scott served as the Chief Executive Officer at Mercalis, where he was a champion for advancing access and outcomes in healthcare. During his tenure at Mercalis, he led the company’s transformation from a market-leading patient affordability provider to a fully integrated commercialization services partner for the life sciences industry. Under his leadership, the organization achieved significant organic growth and completed seven acquisitions in seven years, resulting in a powerful combination of technology capabilities and commercialization expertise to support clients navigating an increasingly complex healthcare landscape.
Earlier in his career, Scott held leadership roles at Taiho Oncology, where he directed market access strategy, including the development of a limited specialty pharmacy network and a patient support program for an oral oncology therapy. He also served in general manager and senior leadership positions across operations, strategy, IT, product development, and enterprise sales at United BioSource Corporation (UBC), an Express Scripts company, and AccessMED, a McKesson Specialty and U.S. Oncology company.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems from Iowa State University and an MBA with an emphasis in finance from the University of Kansas. He lives in Shawnee, KS with his wife Lisa and their two children. In his free time, Scott enjoys exercising, family travel, and boating at the Lake of the Ozarks.
